It is with profound grief and acceptance of God’s will and His sufficient grace that we announce the promotion to glory of Josephine Wairimu Muritu, formerly a teacher at Park Road Primary School Nairobi on the 24th March, 2022.

Daughter to the late Titus Muritu and the late Keziah Njeri Muritu. A loving wife to Mr. Stanley Irungu Kariuki.

Adoring mother toVivian Njeri,the late Kennedy Kariuki and Sheila Murugi. Mother in law to Wilfred Waithaka Njoki.

Devoted Grandmother to Brian Waithaka, Melanie Waithaka and Baraka Waithaka.

Sister to the late Fredrick Kahuro, Jane Wanjiku, Stephen Uimbia Muritu of Marmu Restaurant and MargaretWanjiru of Famous cafe.

In law to Edelquinn Njoki Waithaka of Kamwangi Gatundu. Sister in law to Agnes Kamau, Patrick Kagotho, Josephine Wairimu, Grace Njeri, Humphrey Kimani, Anthony Macharia, Ann Wanjiru, Simon Mwangi and Lilian Wamucii.

Cousin to Bernard Kibaru,Wairimu, Irungu, Macharia and others. She was a loving auntie, niece and friend to many.

Meetings are being held at her homes in Mugutha Ruiru, Kahuro, and Famous Restaurant daily from 6pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Kabati Mortuary on Friday, 1st April, 2022 at 8:00 am for a funeral service at ACK Christ The King Church at Kahuro in Murang’a from 10am and immediately thereafter for a burial ceremony at her home in Kahuro, Murang’a County.
