With deep sorrow, we announce the death of our Dad Retired Senior Chief. Canon Jotham Nguri Ngucu, HSC, SS.

Husband of the late Grace Wangari Nguri of Kirinyaga County. Father of Dan Nguchu and Ruth, Faith and Igecha, Chris Munene and Margaret, Mau and Mary, Njiru and Jane, Pst. Njagi and Judy, Pst. Njeru and Mercy, J. Thiaka and Grace, Pst. Kangi and Roselyn and Rose Muthoni. Brother of James Thiaka, Cousin of many. In-law of Rukungas, Igechas, Muruthis, Kinyuas, Nyagas, Kamaus, Kinyanjuis, Wambugus and Muchiris. Uncle of Mathagus, Njiru Gateris, Mukunyas, Nguri Mbuthias, Mugos and Matus. Grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

Family and friends will be meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd January 2019, the meetings at his home in Kianguenyi are ongoing daily in the evenings.

The Cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi on Friday, 25th January 2019 at 6.00am for the funeral service at ACK St. Thomas Cathedral, Kerugoya from 10.00a.m thereafter the burial will be held at his home in Kianguenyi, Kirinyaga County.
