Jotham Njue M’Imwara

We regret to announce the death of Jotham Njue Melmwara. He was a Rtrd. Development officer (former Meru District), a Rtd. Elder of the PCEA – Meru Township Parish.
Husband to Lucy Ciambuba, Rtd Tr. Irinda Pri. Sch. Meru. He hails from Irinda Village – Meru, KK Mwendwa and Mutunguluni Village, Chuka.
Son to the late Samuel Nthiiri, the late Charity Ciangai and the late Joyce Ciangaara.
He is survived by John Kinyua, Jemima Karimi (KEMU – Meru), the late Jedidah Kangai, Fridah Kanini (Mbeu Pri. Sch.), Zachary Munene, Rose Makena (UoN), Purity Kinya (UoN) & Glory Gatwiri (Chogoria Mission Hospital).
Father-in-love to Jane Kaari, Bernard Gitonga, Lieutenant Colonel George Gituma (D.O.D Hqs), Muthoni Munene & Philip Ngugi (Chogoria Mission Hospital).
Grandfather to Mwende, Kimathi, Astela. Eng. Niue, Glory, Mwiti, Kendi, Kanana. Murithi, Abigael, Mukami, Victoria, Kathomi, Nkatha, Michaela, Kathure and Kinya. Great-grandfather to Jewel Munene and Rachael Makena.
Brother to Juliet Ciakiunguni, the late Wesley Mutegi, the late Lydia Ciambuba, Julius Njoka, the late Erastus Njoka, the late Harriet Ciambaka, Leah Ciagitaari, Jesca Kaari, Rev. Ephantus Mbaka (PCEA St. Joseph Ngwaci Church), David Gitonga, Medrine Ciamutegi, the late Murithi Imwara, Patrick Micheni, Sylvia Karimi and Mbae Imwara.
Funeral arrangements are taking place daily at PCEA – Meru Town Church Hall, KK Mwendwa Village -Chuka and Nkabu Village – Kirege Chuka.
There will be a requiem mass at PCEA – Meru Town Church (Mwendantu – Meru), on Thursday 27/07/2023 at 2.00pm.
The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday 28/07/2023 for funeral service at PCEA J.K.M.C Ndagani. Thereafter, burial at his Mutunguluni Farm Ndagani Chuka.
