It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Joyce Chepkemoi Langat of Kabarsowoch village, Kabianga Division, Kericho County on the 23rd April 2021 following a short illness.

Loving wife to Ronald Geoffrey Lang’at (RG) of Central Bank of Kenya (CBK). Daughter of the late Peter Sang and late Catherine Sang of Seretut, Kericho County. Daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Chepkwony and the late Grace Chepkwony and Esther Chepkwony of Kabarsowoch, Kabianga Kericho County. Loving mother to Joy Chepngeno, Arnold Mutai, Britney Chepkorir, Kyle Kiptoo and Liam Kipkoech.

Sister to Christine Mutai, Kenneth Bett, Gilbert Ben, Caroline Chesire, Micah Bett, Ruth Chebet, Philip Bett, Margaret Cheptoo, Dennis Bett, Emmanuel Bett and Elaine Cheruto. A loving sister in-law to John & Scholastica Langat, the late Major Langat & Naomi Langat, Emily & Francis Keter, Elizabeth Rono, Richard & Frida Langat; Zeddy & Samwel Langat, Rose & Patrick Mengich, Joshua & Aggripina Langat, Jane & Jonathan Tonui, Edward & Flora Langat, the late Nancy and Joseph Rotich, Willy & Emily Langat, Evalyne & Samwel Sum, Benard & Sharon Langat, Diana Cherotich, Beatrice Chepkoech and Vincent & Asenath Langat; Sammy Mutai, Caro Bett, Maureen Bett, Dominic Chesire, Brenda Bett, Mercy L Bett, Mercy C Bett and Anthony Cheruiyot.

Meetings are taking place every day at 3:00pm at the Kabianga home and at Ngei Phase 2 Lang’ata.

The cortege will leave Mater Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 28th April. 2021, at 6:00am for Kabianga home, Belgut Sub-county, Kericho County. The funeral will be held on Thursday 29th April from 10.00 am.
