It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Joyce Mueni Wambua Katilu which occurred on 9th August, 2022 at Bristol Park Hospital – Machakos.

Loving wife to Patrick Wambua Katilu of Kyaani Village – Machakos. Dear mother to Tabitha & Jacob Mutavai Dorcas Mwende Wambua, Mary & Antony Kimani, Isdac Katilu & Faith and the late Margaret Katilu, Rachael & Charles Mbuvi, Ruth & Jasper Mutiso, Monicah & Erastus Orembo Jela.

Daughter to the late John Makau Kilonzo and the late Monicah Mbuve Kilonzo. Sister to Tabitha, Annah, Mwanthi,Wambua and the late Mutinda.

Daughter-in-law to the late John Katilu Maati and the late Ruth Mbula Katilu. Sister-in-law to Agnes, Josephine, Jane, Deborah,Augustus, the late Julius and the late Rachael.

Doting Grandmother to Carol, Sydy, Joy, Karanja, Shiku, Mueni, Keza, Sasha 2, Sean, Mbuvi,Trizah, Liz, Eugene. Maggie, Shirley and Sasha 1.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Patrick Wambua Katilu’s home in Kyaani village, Mua Location, Machakos County for the burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Machakos, on Thursday 18th August, 2022 at :00am and thereafter burial at Katilu’s home, Kyaani village, Mua Ward, Machakos County.
