Joyce Mutuku Muthini

(1957 – 2023)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing on of Joyce Mutuku Muthini on 3rd July, 2023.

Joy is the beloved wife to Charles M. Muthini HSC (PPMC). She left this world peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness.

Joy is Mother to Rev. David Mutuku & Rev. Danielle C. David (ICC), Rachel Mutuku Mks, Maryanne Mutuku (Shalom Community Hospital), Charles Nziu & Catherine Mutua (Mks) and Benjamin Mutuku & Betty Wambua (LVCT Health and IJM).

Joy is survived by grandchildren; Mercy Mueni, Albert Mutuku, Daniel Mwendwa, Ahadi Pendo, Deborah Berur, Destiny Praise, Joy Mutheu, Peace Ndanu, Bethany Sifa, BenRoy Baraka and Benel Hekima. She is daughter to Nziu Kiola and Syothua Nziu

Joy is daughter In-law to David M. Wambua and Agnes Muthini.

She is the last-born sister to Mulali, Syokau and Lydia.

Her siblings in love include; Maryanne and Jackson, Peter & Elizabeth,Wilfred and Esther, Rachael and Josiah, Benjamin & Agnes, Nixon & Winnie and Michael & Syombua.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their Machakos family residence (Kimangu), and at International Christian Centre – Nairobi (Mombasa Road, Opposite- Kingsway Tyres/ Creative Innovations, just before Nyayo Stadium), Sunday 3:00pm and Monday 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves Machakos Montezuma Funeral Home at 0800Hrs on Wednesday 12th July, 2023. The funeral service will take place at AIC Kangondi from 1000Hrs and thereafter the interment rites will follow at the family’s residence.
