Joyce Njoki Kangethe (Nyina wa Mbarathi)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joyce Njoki Kangethe (Nyina wa Mbarathi) on 9th August 2017 at Guru Nanak Hospital.

Wife of the late Hezron Kangethe. Sister of late Paul Ngugi, Charity Nyamang’u, Gatimu and Rahab Waceke. Mother of Samuel Mbugua (Afritech), Daniel Mbarathi (Afritech), Peter Muturi, Julius Ngugi, Lucy Njeri, George Njoroge and Jane Nyambura. Mother-in-law of Jane Mbugua, the late Esther Mbarathi, Mary Muturi, Grace Ngugi, Catherine George, the late John Kungu and Boniface Nduati. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting at Tumaini House opposite Kencom (Nairobi) and at her home in Kiawaihiga Gatanga daily as from 5pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 18th August 2017 at 9.00am for funeral service at 11 am at PCEA Joshua Mutaru Gituamba, Gatanga. Burial Ceremony will take place thereafter at her farm in Kiawaihiga village, Kiunyu Sublocation, Muranga County.
