It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Joyce Nyegera Kinyua of Muriinya Village, Githongo, Meru County which occurred on 25th January 2023 at Kiirua Mission Hospital.

Daughter to the late Gerishon M’Rintaugu Muketha and the late Sarah M’Rintaugu. Daughter in law to the late Musa M’Kirera and the late Maritha Musa.

Loving wife to Stanley Kinyua Musa (formerly of NCPB).

Sister to the late Alice Mbutura, the late Ntari Kirongi, the late Francis Kithinji, Margaret M’Ringera & Paul Mworia.

Sister in law to Johnson Njuki & the lateJulia Njuki, Ibrahim Nteere and Judith Nteere.

Doting mother to Peter Gitonga(Mombasa) & Phyllis Gitonga (formerly of Reef Hotel), Lucy Muthuri (AFC) & Zachary Muthuri (formerly of CBK), Patrick Murithi (Kenya Navy) & Josephine Murithi (Mombasa), Jane Muthaura (NCPB) & Wilson Muthaura (CEO, KTDA), Gerishon Munene (Miiruriri Boys Sec. School) & Lucy Munene (Kaaga Boys Sec. School).

Grandmother to Makena, Mwenda, Mercy, Nancy, Mbaya, Mutuma & Kinya, Dennis, Karimi, David, Ken, Victor, Rodney, Ian, Lavelle. She was blessed with 9 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild. She was an Aunt & Cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Muriinya, Meru County from 5:30pm, and in Nairobi at The All Saints Cathedral from 30th January to 1st February 2023, 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Kiirua Mission Hospital mortuary on Friday 3rd February 2023 for a funeral service at Muriinya Methodist Church and thereafter burial at her home in Muriinya Village, Githongo, Meru County.
