Judith Wahu Gachukia (Marcelina Nduku)

1944 – 2017

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Judith Wahu Gachukia (Marcelina Nduku) at the Texas Cancer Centre, Nairobi on 31st August 2017.

Wife of the late George Gachukia Muhungi, daughter of the late Patrick Muhindi Kiguru and the late Agnes Njeri Muhindi. Sister of late Kiguru Muhindi, MilkaWanjiku, Julia Wangare, Rhoda Wambui and a half-sister of many. Mother of Grace Wairimu, Lucy Njeri, Mary Mumbi, Michael Muhungi,Anthony Muhindi, the late Teresia Wanjiku, Cecilia Wanjiku, Margaret Wacheke, Martin Ngugi and Jennifer Wangari. Mother-in-law of late Isaac Njenga, Boniface Ngarachu, Rose Nyabara, Philip Kandie, Caroline Wambura and James Karobia. She has left behind twenty five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting at the family home in JB Pipeline, Nakuru and Norwich Union Conference Hall, Kimathi Street, Nairobi for daily prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home for prayers and burial at the family farm in Kiumbu, Mwea on Monday 11th September at 7.00 am.
