Julia Muthoni Munania

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Julia Muthoni Munania which occurred suddenly on 16.02.2023.

She was a daughter of the late Mbuthia Kairu and the late Wanjiku Mbuthia. Loving mother of Dr Mbuthia of Nanyuki, Mary Wangui Hinga of Mukurwe-ini and Jane Wanjiku Njau of Thika. Mother-in-law to Ann Wangui Mbuthia, John Hinga and Stephen Njau.

Aunt to Kairu Muthumbi, Kimari, Mbuthia, Maina Wakonyo, Wangare Karinga, John Mwangi, Kairu Mbuthia, Gatimu, Njoki, Nduta, Nyambura, Njeri, Wambui Ngure among others.

Grandmother to Dr Juliana, Dr Gascoigne, Michael, Susan, Alex, Mercy,Viona,Wanjiku, Josphat Muturi, Mwonjoria, Julia Hinga, Simon, Pauline, ulia Njau and a great grandmother to many.

Prayer meetings and funeral arrangements are being held at Dr Mbuthia’s home and at Emess Hotel, Nanyuki.

Funeral service will be held on 23.02.2023. The cortege shall leave Nanyuki Cottage Hospital Mortuary at 8:00AM for burial at Dr Mbuthia’s farm in Mureru, Naromoru.

Eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
