Julia Wambui Wachai

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing of Julia Wambui Wachai.

Daughter of Benson Wainaina Thomboro (KAMERI) and the late Hannah Wanjiru (Gachoki).

Loving wife of the late David Wachai Muthana.

Cherished mother of Wainaina, Wathoni, Mwangi, Wanjiru, Njoroge, Ndungu, Mburu, Ngugi, Njeri, Wathithi, Kamau and Wamuthithi.

Dear sister to Wathithi, Wahu, Nyokabi, Njeri, the late Warima, Waturi, Wairimu, Ndungu, the late Ngugi, Kamau, and Wanjiku.

She also held the role of a mother-in-law to Waruinu, Mwaniki, Wanjiku, Kamau, Wanjiru Njoroge, Muthoni Ndungu, Muthoni Mburu, Wanjiru Ngugi, Wandeto, Ngugi, Njeri, and Kienjeku. She was also a dear aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother to many.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral – Kabati on Wednesday, 5th July, 2023 and proceed to General Matenjogwa Stadium (Kibereke), for a funeral service in her honor, which will commence at 10:00am. Thereafter, the service, the burial service ill take place at her farm in Naaro, Kiriko Village, Murang’a County.
