Julian Rueben Murungi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Julian Rueben Murungi, which occurred on 16th March, 2022.

Son of the late Reuben Marete Ibunge and the late Cecilia Gakiru Marete.

Son-in-law to Linus Muthengi and the late Doris Mukwairu.

Loving husband of Kellen Muthoni Murungi.

Doting father to Joy Mukami Murungi (Tourism Fund HQ) and Suzzy Gatwiri Murungi (Emerge Developments). Father-in-law to Michael Rwara.

Brother to Conrad Mugambi, Tiberius Mputhia, Florence Kaimuri, Anthony Njeru, the late Christine Kanyua and Rita Kaari. An in-law, uncle, grandfather and friend to many.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 23rd March, 2022, at 3.00pm in Ruaraka Baptist Church – along Thika Road.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary at 6:00am on Friday, 25th March, 2022, for the funeral service at home in Igoji, Meru County.
