It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that The Co-operative University of Kenya announces the death of Mr Julius Kanyiri King’ori, who until his demise was a member of staff at the University. The death occurred on 24/9/2019 after a short illness at the MP Shah Hospital Nairobi.

Son of the late Simon King’ori Muhoro and the late Mary Gathoni King’ori. Son-in-law of the late Mr Benard Kabaiya Kamau and the late Mrs Esther Njeri Kabaiya of Mairo Inya. A loving husband of Maria Wangeci Kanyiri (Nairobi County, Department of Co-operatives). Loving dad of Amos Kabaiya, Caroline Gathoni and Esther Njeri. Grandfather of Wangechi Kabaiya. A brother of Ann Wanjiru Ndungu (Mahiga), George Wanjahi (Othaya), Lucy Mumbi Kimani (Naivasha), Paul Wachira businessman (Thika) and John Kariuki (Othaya) and uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home (Kiserian), Nalepo, Nkaimurunya (Fatal) 6:00 pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019, at 8:00am for a funeral service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kiserian from 10:00am. Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his Kiserian Farm, Lewisa Road.

Your great counsel, guidance, generosity and leadership will be highly missed.
