Julius Macharia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Julius Macharia, retired lawyer on 20th May 2023.

He was the son of the late Herman Mwangi and the late Monica Mbaire of Kahuhia.

Loving husband of Grace Wanjiru Macharia, retired nurse and son-in-law to Johnstone Gikandi and Eunice Wangari of Tumutumu.

Loving father to Eunice Wangari Wambua, Monica Kung’u and Cris Mwangi.

Brother to the late Reginald Gachie, Grace Muguru Githinji, George Kamau, Margaret Muthoni Githirwa, Jennifer Merl Irungu and the late Benson Manyeki.

Father-in-law to Kitheka Wambua, Samuel Kung’u and Joan Mwangi.

He was Grandfather to Tevin, Malcolm, Roy, Wema, Beth-el, Peni-el, Isra-el and brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Macharia’s Residence, Njeng’u, Nyeri from 4.00p.m.

The cortege leaves Outspan Nyeri Funeral Home on Thursday, 25th May 2023 at 9.30a.m. There will be a church service at ACK St. Peter’s Cathedral, Nyeri at 11.00a.m. The burial will be held at his home in Njeng’u Village, Kabiru-ini Location, Nyeri County.
