Julius Makori Sagini

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Julius Makori Sagini, formerly of Eldoret University and Moi University.

Beloved husband of Rebecca Moraa Makori. Son of the late Obiti Sagini and the late Truphena Binsari. Brother of Nyangeri, the late Jerusa, the late Masese, the late Zablon, Alfred Nyamoga, Samson Omote, the late Ouko, Moranga, Onwonga, Ombuna Dina Gladys and Peris.

Father of Christine Aluda, Major Karen Makori, Edna Ahoya, Sara Makori, Dr. Enoch Makori and Emmanuel Nyakawa. Father-in-taw of Isaac Aluda, Dr. Phinehas Ahoya, Sigee Koech and Beverlyne Adhiambo.

Grandfather of Ronnie Aluda, Ryan Fortune Aluda, Nicole Kadesa, Mmbone Ramona, Roman Aluda, Samantha Ahoya. Elsie Moraa, Trevor Aluda, Sagini Makori, Mokeira Moraa and Iris Bonareri Nyakavta. Uncle, grandfather and friend to many.

Prayers are held at his farm in Outspan Eidoret.

The Cortege will leave MTRH Mortuary, on Thursday 29th October. 2020 at 10.00am for a memorial service at Sirikwa Pentecostal Church, Eldoret and thereafter for an overnight stay at his home in Outspan. The burial will be on Friday 30th October, 2020.

Dad you fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace. Amen!
