It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mzee Julius M’ntuankure M’Ngaruthi Kaiririu of Luuma village on 10th May, 2023 at Coptic Hospital.

Son of the late M’Ngaruthi Kaiririu and the late Ciomwito Ngaruthi. Son-in-law to Mwitari and Ciolimbintu.

Husband to Tabitha Ciomuntu Mwitari. Father to David Manyara, George Makenda, the late Peter Nguthari, Henry Mwingirwa (La Baita Lounge Upperhill), the late Gerald Kailikia, the late Mary Nkirote, the late Kimathi and Naomi Kinya (Meru County Government).

Father-in-law to Severina Mukoiti, the late Susana Makenda, Kambura Makenda, Karambu Peter, Joyce Mwingirwa and Muthoni Gerald.

Brother to late Poster M’Iarama Ngaruthi, the late Atitu, Mukethi Mbutura, Kangondu and Kalubua Ntari.

Brother-in-law to M’Kirera, Nchekei, Nkuui, Col. Retired Bosco Mwitari, the late Joel Kanyi, Nchulubi, Munanau, Murea, Kangoita, Kaiyera Mungathia, Nkoyai, Jucubu, Mungiiria, David Laichena (USA),Apostle John (USA), Kabirea, Nkoyai and Thamai.

Grandfather to Helen Karambu, Nkunja (National Police Service), Mwenda, Purity Kanario, M kiri, Mwika, Nkatha, Erickson, Munene, Florida Kawira, Ken Kilui, Gacheri, Mukami, Eunice Mwingirwa, Alfred Mwingirwa, Caleb Mwingirwa, Kylajanet Mwingirwa, Amos Mutwiri, Muchui, Gakii, Daini, Gikundi Joseph and Nkatha.

Great-grandfather to Anita Karimi,Trinah Kendi, Ishan Jerend, Pendo Jerend, Kyla Pendo and Mathew Mweya. Loving Uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Nairobi Upperhill La Baita Lounge, Isiolo Safari Bar, Acacia Garden M;Minuki Muthara and (Luuma) home from 6:00pm till Thursday 19th May 2023.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home – Nairobi, at 5:30am on Saturday, 20th May, 2023 for the funeral service at Meru Luuma Primary School at around 12noon. Thereafter, burial service will be held at his farm in Luuma Kaithe Village.
