Julius Ndung’u Kinyanjui (Burugu)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Julius Ndung’u Kinyanjui (Burugu), formerly of Standard Chartered Bank and Transnational Bank after a short illness at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital on Tuesday 18th October, 2022.

The third born of the late Zakayo Kinyanjui Kamondo and the late Zipporah Mugure Kinyanjui. Beloved husband to Isabella Njoki Ndung’u. Loving father to Scola Mugure (Gikomba), David Kinyanjui (Embu PGH), Fidelis Njeri (Makwa Primary), Caroline Wanjiku (KUTRH), Lawrence Karong’e (MOLPP) and Grace Wanjiru (Gachoka Primary).

Brother to Wanjiku Kirau, Wanjiru Karing’u, Waceke Kagua, Njoki Ng’ang’a, the late Ngurwa, Veronica Wangui, Joseph Gitau, Francis Kimani, Ann Wangari and Faith Muthoni. Step-brother to Wamunyas and Wakabera siblings. Grandfather and uncle to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Kirega village, Nyamang’ara Sub-location, Mang’u Location, Gatundu North Sub-county in Kiambu County for burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Wednesday 26th October, 2022 for a Church service at St. Peter Nyamang’ara Catholic Parish, at 11:00am and later interment will take place at his home in Kirega Village.
