It’s with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Julius Ogoti Keng’ara of Amasago village, Keumbu, Kisii County on 19th July, 2018.
Son to the late Andrew Keng’ara and Mary Kemunto. Husband to Carren Morang’i of Ministry of Labour & Social Protection. Father to Elvis (Eka hotel), Anne (Canada) and Andrean (St. Hannah’s-Karen). Brother to Concepta, Late Gichaba, Stanley of BICC Mombasa, Robert, Albert and Late Anne.
Brother-in-law of Nemwuel Nyakeriga. Christine, Alice, Jackline, the Onwonga’s, Obagas, Abutas, Nyacheos, Ndeges, Marieras, Machokas among others. Nephew to Russia, John, Anthony (all late), Mikuro, Pauline, Maria, Mary Omwange, Jane, Mosiori, Kengaras, Kenanis, Ogotis, Nyakundis, Ondigi, Aiko, Omwange, Nyambati, Mayaka, Onsabwa, Onkunya among others.
Semo to Joachim, Gilbert, Kennedy, William and Samwel. Grandson of Alloyse Maigo & Loretta Mongina, Ogoti, Pastor Kenani, Nyakundi, Ondieki, Nyabisi, Dinah (all late). Uncle to Lydia & Daniel (K1CC). Son-in-law to the late Stanley & Helena Onwong’a, Nyacheo & Yunis. Cousin to the Ogechas, Mikuros, Nyambatis, Aikos, Mayakas, Mosioris, Daudis, Kenanis, Nyakundis, Kengara’s, Ondigis, Omwange, Onkunyas, Onsabwas among others. Grandpa to lama, Maya, Leon, Kyle, Andrew.
Relatives and friends are meeting today the 31st July for the main fundraising at All Saints Cathedral Church Nairobi from 5pm.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Mortuary on 2nd August after a short mass.
The burial will be on 3rd August 2018 at his home Amasago village- Keumbu.
