Daughter of the late Kamweti Kimondo and late Konyu Kamweti. Wife of the late Raphael Gachari Gichaba. Loving mother of Philip W Gachare, the late Simon Githinji, Joseph W. Gachare, the late James Wahome, Dr. Lucy Gachare, Florence Karuiru, Wanjira Wanjohi, the late Patrick Macharia, Gladys Wamucii, Kamweti Gachari, Mercy Gachare and Jane Gachare-Kariuki. Sister of the late Gladys Wamucii Njuki, Kinaro Kamweti, Stephen Kinyua and Dr David Kamweti. Loving Mother-in-law of the late Charity Wanjohi, Nancy Wanjohi, Philomena Warungu, Nancy Wahome, Teresia Wahome, Eng. James Karuiru, Jackson Wanjohi, Jane Kamweti, the late Joseph Ndungu and Godfrey Kariuki Kamau. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at PCEA St Andrews Church New Hall Balcony 4 from Tuesday 19 to Thursday 21st March, 2019, at PCEA Kirathimo Church in Nyeri and at her Kiamachimbi home.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday, 22nd March, 2019 at 7.00am. Funeral service and burial will be from 10.00am at her family home in Kiamachimbi Village, Ruthagati Location, Mathira, Nyeri County.
