It is with humble acceptance of the will of the Almighty God that we announce the passing on to glory of our beloved mother and grandmother, Keziah Habwe Otsyula Muchelule to the heavenly abode which occurred on 3rd March, 2022, who until her demise was the Chair of Planning and Development Committee of Kakamega Municipal Board, Kakamega County.
Wife to Hon. Mr. Justice Aggrey Otsyula Muchelule. Daughter of the late David Habwe and the late Ruth Asami Amukhobu.
In-Law to Mr. and Mrs. Gacoka and Mr. and Mrs. Masya. She was the Mother of Linda Masya Muchelule, Brian Shikumo Muchelule and Bruce Habwe Muchelule.
Mother-In-law to Bernard Masya and Tracy Njeri Muchelule. She was the daughter-in-law of the late Hannington Muchelule and the late Dinah Muchelule of Emalindi Village, Khwisero sub-county, Kakamega County.
Sister to the late Patrick, Emeritus Bishop Dr. Moffat Kilioba (former National Presiding Bishop of PEFA Church), Victor Kilioba, Florence Habwe, Phyllis Wetangula and the late Robert Kilioba.
Grandmother to Beniah Masya and Zyana Muchelule. Sister-In-Law to the late Tabitha, Mary, the late Grace, Benson, Rachel, the late Nelson, the late Winfred, John, Edward, Beatrice, the late Amos, Dr. Samson Muchelule and David.
Friends and relatives are meeting at the family home in New Kitisuru Estate, Nairobi, from 5pm daily.
A fund-raising meeting will be held on Wednesday, 9th March, 2022 at United Kenya Club at 6 pm.
The memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, 10th March, 2022 at 2 pm at the All Saints Cathedral ACK Church in Nairobi.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, 12th March, 2022 from 10am at the family home in Mukumu, Kakamega County.
