Kipkorir Kolil Tarus (Lord Francis)
It’s with profound sadness and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the death of Kipkorir Kolil Tarus (Lord Francis), which occurred on 11th May, 2019 at MTRH Hospital, Eldoret.
Son of the late Kiberenge Arap Tanui and Bot Tapkeror. Loving husband of Mary Tarus. Brother of John Kisorio, Pauline Siret and Alice Chepkurgat and the late Willy Suge, Kipkosgei Some, William Sirma, Chemesunde, Chebor and Regina. Father of Cecilia Jebet, Susan Jemeli, Micheal Korir, Nicholas Tarus, Mark Tarus, Hillary Koech, Monica Chesang, Henry Kibitok, Isaac Tirop, Dominic Kirwa and Edwin Koech. Cousin of Ambassador Suge, Joel Kolil, James Koskei and Pauline Chesop. Brother-in-law of Joshua Chesop, Rusi Kisorio, Joyce Suge, Rosebella Kolil among others. He is blessed with several grandchildren.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home, Ndemu village, Tuiyo farm, Kapseret.
The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Refferal Hospital (MTRH) on 17th May 2019, to his home, Tuiyo farm for an overnight vigil.
Funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday, 18th May, 2019 at his Tuiyo, Kapseret Sub-County, Uasin Gishu County, from 10.00am.
