It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Kogo Eunice Talai Kiptoo of Uasin Gishu County, Ainabkoi Location, Kapngetuny village.

Daughter of the late Chesire Ketiem and Talai Chesire of Kipsaos. Beloved wife of former Councilor Kotut Kitongo. Co-wife to the late Christine Sote (Tapkili). Adored mother of Wilson Kipkemoi, Rael Cheruiyot (Kapngetuny), Elizabeth Jeruto Chepkonga (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Abigael Ruto, Kiprop Too (Sweden), Kibet Too (Eldoret), Kipkurui Too (NSSF), Charles Kangogo (Kapngetuny), Mercy Jeptoo (Eldoret), Kelvin Kipyego (ken TVET), Sharon Jebet (Greenwood Secondary School). Step-mother to the late Kipchirchir, Esther Jelagat (Kapngetuny), Jane Jesang (Kipsombe), Ben Kipngetich (MoH, Uasin Gishu County), Steve Moire (Moire Col. Ltd).

Mother-in-law to Elizabeth Kemboi (Retired Teacher), Charles Chepkonga, Irene Jeptoo (Sweden), Stella Mueni (NSSF), Daisy Too (MTRH), Margaret Kiptum (Teacher, PAG Jerusalem) and Monica Moire (Ancila). Sister of Taprongoei Toroitich (Kapkoros -Kaptagat), the late Benjamin Chesire (Kaptagat), Tamurei Kiplagat (Kapkeny – Kapkon’ga), the late Sarah Ego (Kapkokwo – Matharu), Susan Kiplagat (Sugoi) and Robinson Kibet Chesire (Eldoret). She was blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Funeral Home on Friday 27th May, 2022 at 10.00am to Kapsoya home for prayers and then proceed to Kapng’etuny home for an overnight vigil. Funeral Service and burial will be held on Saturday 28th May, 2022 at their farm, Kapng’etuny village, Ainabkoi Location, Uasin Gishu County from 9.00am.
