It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Kokoo Zipporah Kagure Nkini Ene Pertet of Lekurruki Village, Upper Matasia, Ngong, Kajiado County.

Daughter of the Late Stephen Wakaba Wamuthongo and the Late Susan Waithera Wakaba, Nduta, Elizabeth Njoki, Maria Wairimu and Maria Wanjiru (Loltoktok). She was wife to The Late Moipan Mungai Ole Pertet. Co-Wife to The Late Juliet, Priscilla and Sarah Pertet. Mother to The Late Mwalimu Simon Loonkishu, Naomi Njoroge, Peninah Nasieku Tompo, Pamela Koyiasi, Daniel Taikon, Chief Joseph Pertet and The Late David Mbatian. Step Mother to Gladys, Florence, Chris(US), Lilian, Ann, Joyce, Margaret, Oloishiro, Reuben and Jane, The Late (George, Fred, Wuantai, Richard, Francis, John, Rahab). Mother in law to Alice Loonkishu, The Late Arthur Njoroge, Joseph Tompo, Alice Taikon and Regina Lempeyian, Rev. Winifred Mepukori, Ann Pertet, Monica, Salome Wuantai, Eunice, Monica Sipoi, David Kairu among others. Sister to: John, Benson, Lendeyia, Wanjiku Leshinka, Mary Noonkai, Grace Gachambi, Peter, Joseph, Helena, Kimani, The Late (Gaitho, Ibrahim,Wanjeri, Catherine and MbUgua).

Grand Mother to The Late Ann, Nkini, Siang’o, Sammy(US), Emily, Karis, Nelly, Zippy, Florence, Odu, Eddie, Lantei, Parsimei, Justus, Lemo, Naisiae, Saruni, Andrew,Tumeso and William (US), Sarah, Kenneth (Canada), Bob, Hellen, Sambaen, Salau, Esther, Zaida, Priscilla (US), Joseph, Vicky, Teresia and many others. She was a great grandmother to many. Aunty to the Pertet’s and The Wakaba’s.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Lekurruki (Ngong) and Isinya at 5pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home Nairobi on Friday 24th January 2020 at 8 AM for her final journey. Kokoo will be laid to rest at her Lekurruki home, Ngong, Kajiado County.
