It is with profound sorrow and sadness accepting God’s will that we announce the passing of Lawrence Mutunga Kitai, that occurred on the 11th of February, 2023.

Husband to Monica Syovinya Mutunga, father to Petronila Mutanu (USA), Veronica Mwongeli (St. Pauls), Anthony Mutunga (Nation Media Group), Late Judith Muthoki, Everlyne Mwende (Mihang’o Pri.), Allan Manthi (Eldoret), Teresia Lima (Machakos University) and Simon Ndua (Makaalu JSS).

Brother to Scholastica Muthikwa Mathingau.

Father-in-law to Augustine, Mutuku, Yvonne, James, Naomi, Owino, Mathias and Christine.

A loving grandfather to Dennis, Brian,Trevor, Jeanne, Shanelle, Liam and Ethan among others.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos on Thursday 23rd February 2023 at 7.00am. The burial will take place in Ngundu Village, Miu location, Mwala sub-county Machakos County.
