We regret to announce the demise of Lay Canon Moses Gitungo Mbugua, retired lay-Leader ACK Emmanuel Church Kibichiku, BOM Chairman The Mary Leakey Girls High School, Founder and CEO of KENFAM International. He hails from Kibichiku, Kabete Sub-county, Kiambu County.

Husband of Rose Wambui. Father of Joyce Wanjiku & David Mwaura, George Muigai & Isabel Gathoni, Jerusha Njeri & Kenneth Maina and the late John Mbugua. He was the son of the late John Mbugua & Eunice Wanjiku. Brother of James Gitau, Esther Wamaitha Mau, George Ngugi, Gladys Njoki Chege, Willy Njoroge, Judy Wanjiru Karanja, Margaret Nyakanini Munori and Penina Wanja.

He was son in law of the late George Muigai and Jerusha Njeri. He was an in law of Mr & Mrs Samuel Muna, Late Arch Bishop Samson Gaitho and Bertha Nyambura, Daniel Waweru Kimenyi and the late Mary Njoki. Grandfather of Wambui & Wangui Maina, Wanjiku & Wambui Mwaura, Wambui, Nyambura & Wanjiku Muigai.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Kibichiku Residence for prayers and funeral arrangements.

He will be laid to rest on 5th May 2021 starting at 11am. Funeral service will be held at Kibichiku Primary grounds and burial later at his residence.
