Leah Njeri Kamau (Msichana wa Yesu)

1937 – 2019

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Leah Njeri Kamau (Msichana wa Yesu) of Eldoret.

Daughter of the late Onesmus Githinji and the late Naomi Nyakio. Daughter in law of the date Samson Karika Kinundu and the late Rebecca Wangeci.

Wife of the late Daniel Kamau Karika. Loving mother of John Karika and Mary Wangare, the late David Githinji and Ester Wangare, Ann Wangeci and the late Peter Njoroge, Mary Nyakio and Alex Mwangi, the late Joseph Muraya and Ester Wangui, Tabitha Wanjiku , Shadrack Ngugi and Anne Njoki, Virginia Wangare and James Ndiang’ui.

Sister of the late Margaret Wanjiku, the late Rahab Wangari, Ruth Wambui, Shadrack Ngugi and Margaret Wamahiu.

Loving grandmother of 39 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves MTRH Farewell home on Saturday 23/2/2019 for church service at Eldo-Valley Baptist Church on Uganda Road opposite Caltex petrol station. Burial will be held thereafter at Yamumbi cemetery.
