It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Leah Tapkili Talai Kimopsop of Kap Owino, Soin Ward, Rongai – Nakuru.

Daughter of Chebii Arap Chepyegon and Mokiyo Chebii of Karkiyoi Village, Kocholwo, Keiyo South.

Wife of the late Kimosop Arap Chemindir.

Sister of Taplilei Daudi, Eric Chebii, the late Joseph Chebii and Musa Chebii.

Mother of Samuel Kimosop (RBA – Nairobi), Mary Cheruiyot (Mukutanio), Hon. Susan Chesyna (Nakuru), Kiptoo Kimosop (Principal Samoei High School), Florence Mutai (County Government of Nakuru), the late Mecha Kimosop and Jennifer Too. Mother-in-Law of Grace, the late Cheruiyot, the late Elisha Chesyna, Joyce (County Government of Nakuru), Maurice, Lilian, David and Peninah.

Grandmother of Jonathan, Kibet, Kipchumba, Eda, Kiptoo, Toroitich, Koech, among others. Great-Grandmother of Fridah, Jayden, Mindir, Ethan, Zyne, Margaret, Hezron,Ann,Trenda.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kogo Leah’s home, Kap Owino, Soin Ward at 4.00pm.

There will be a mini fundraiser today, Wednesday, 11th January, 2023 at Susan Chesiyna’s home in Kiamunyi, Nakuru, at 3.00 m. The main fundraiser will be held on Thursday, 12th January, 2023 at Kogo Leah’s (Kap Owino), Soin Ward at 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Mortuary on Saturday 14th January, 2023 at 8.30am for funeral service and burial at her home in Kap Owino, Soin Ward, from 10.00am.
