Lenny Kimathi Murungi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lenny Kimathi Murungi, renown businessman in Kampala, Uganda and Lamu, Kenya, after a short illness on 3rd August 2023.

Son of Basilio Murungi, Rosalia Kananu, and Florence Kaimuri.

Loving father to Ramel Mwangi Kimathi.

Brother to Christine Murungi (SeedCo Company – Kenya), Anne Murungi (Indigo Homes – Ghana), Kellen Murungi (Nairobi), Martin Mutuma (lsiolo), George Mutiga (Nanyuki) and the late Dan Mureithi. Soul brother to Rosemary Mburugu (NHIF).

Uncle to Milka Anindo, Nicole Amira, Naila Zawadi Silvester Mwiti, Dallas Muriungi, Rebecca Ann, Moses Rodney, Farida Nkatha and Caleb Mwenda.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at Royal Plaza, Roysambu, Thika Road and his father’s home in Igoji – Meru, from 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 11th August, 2023 at 7.00am. Prayer and burial service will take place on the same day at the graveside, in Kianjogu Village, Igoji – Meru.
