Leonard Muturi Wainaina

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Leonard Muturi Wainaina of Spring Valley, Embu, formerly of Embu Provincial General Hospital.

Son to the late Benson Wainaina and the late Margaret Wanjiru. Son-in-law to Isaac Kanyonyo and Jemima Wambui.

Loving husband to Martha Muturi. Father to Benson Wainaina, Margaret Wanjiru and Eric Kimotho.

Brother to Grace Wanja, Geoffrey Ngunjiri, George Kariuki and the late Simon, Beatrice, Ng’ang’a, Gakunyi and Njeri.

Father-in-law to Esther Kalama and Joseph Kimemia. Doting grandfather to Cheryl Njanja and Vanessa Wanjiru. He was an uncle and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Spring Valley Embu and in King’eero, Kabete at the home of Grace Wanja.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Wednesday, 1/08/2022 at 9.00am for the funeral service and burial at is Riandu Farm in Mbeere North, Embu County.

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken, may the name of the Lord be praised!
