Leonida Jepkemboi Mengich  

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the demise of Mrs. Leonida Jepkemboi Mengich (Formerly of MTRH-ELDORET) which occurred on 12th, June 2019.

Daughter of the late Joseph Tormoi and the late Hellen Tormoi. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mengich Chebaiywo. Mother of Jacqueline Mengich, Thomas Mengich, the late John Paul Kiprop, Cecilia Mengich Ovvuor and Amy Cherono Mengich. Daughter-in-law of the lace Mzee Kimengich Chebaiywo and Gogo Bot Chemshara (Tete). Sister of the late Stephen Torino, Mrs. Rose Naibei, Valerian K. Tormoi, Felix Tirop Tormoi, Raphael Kosgey Tormoi and the late John Kipchirchir Tornio’ among others. Grandmother of Sandy Chemutai, Sidney Roy, Lexxi Owuor, Jaydar Hawi Owuor, Martin Kipkoech Kirarey and Joseph Kimutai (Shawn).

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kipkenyo area next to Leltai Academy.

The cortege leaves MTRH-Farewell Home- Eldoret on 21st June 2019, at 2pm for mass at The Sacred Heart Cathedral, and thereafter proceed to her home in Kipkenyo for a vigil night.

Funeral and burial service will be on 22nd June 2019 at her home in Kipkenyo.

The Lord of Harvest has come for His own. Blessed be His Holy Name.
