It is with deep sorrow that we, the family of the late Mzee Charles Oduk Lang’o announce the passing of Lilian Mildred Auma Oduk in the morning of 23rd August, 2023, at Kisumu Specialist Hospital after a short battle with Lung Cancer.

She was beloved wife to Mr. James Oliver Oduk, of Kamreri Sub location, Migori County.

Beloved daughter of the late Henry Okoth Nyamundhe, the late Mama Joyce Akelo Okoth and Susan Okoth, of Nyalenda, Kasagam, Kisumu County.

Cherished mother to Paula Hartmann, Melissa Oduk, and Charles Oduk. Mother-in-Law to Ryan Hartmann and Wanjiku Gathura Oduk.

Sibling to George Ongaya, Alice Atieno, Gladys Okoth, the late Mary Ager, Janet Oduor, Billy Okoth, Booker Okoth, the late Dennis Okatch, Paul Henry and Beatrice Edewor. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Amara Lily, Cooper Jabulani, Sienna Taraji and 011ie Angel.

She was the daughter-in-law of the late mama Hulda Akoko, the late Margaret Goga Oduk, the late Herinah Sirawa Oduk, the late Margaret Muga and the late Dorcas Okatch Oduk. Sister-in-Law to the Margaret Ongaya, Grace Billy, Lydia Okoth, Beatrice Okoth, Mary Okoth, Joe Ager, Derek Edewor, the late Frank Ober, Dr.Willis Badia, Peter Boyce, and the Oduk extended family.

Aunt to Brenda Badia, Henry Mulindi, among others.

The cortege leaves Star Annex Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 7th September 2023, for a funeral service at St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Milimani at 10.00am. Followed by a short visit to their Mamboleo home before heading to Kamreri (off Ranen), Migori County.

Burial will be held on Friday, 8th of September 2023.
