It with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lilian Muringi Wambugu of Kiganjo Village, Mucharage Sub-location, Chinga Location, Othaya Sub-county, Nyeri County.

Wife of the late John Wambugu.

Daughter of the late Benson Wachira Ndegwa and the late Gladys Njoki Wachira. Daughter-in-law of the late Godfrey Gichuki and Regina Wanjiru Gichuki.

Mother to Regina Wanjiru, Fr. Godfrey Gichuki (Gikumbo Parish), Peter Wachira, Immaculate Muthoni, James Kinyati and Ginaro Maina (Watoro).

Grandmother to John Wambugu Wachira, Lilian Muringe Wanjiru, John Makanga Wanjiru and Andrean Waweru.

Sister to Wanjiku, Njeri, the late Gachau, the late Kamuyu, the late Kiambati and the late Wangui.

Masses are being held daily at their home in Kiganjo, Mucharage from 3:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangement.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital – Mathari (Mortuary), on 23rd May, 2023 at 8:00am followed by a funeral mass at her farm in Mucharage, Kiganjo Village, from 10:00am.
