Lilian Njoki Bachia (Nyina wa Kairu)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lilian Njoki Bachia of Gichiche, Chinga Location, Othaya, which occurred in hospital on March 4th, 2022.

Daughter of the late Kairu Muthithe & Naomi Wanjiru of Kamune, Kamacharia Division. Sister of the late Ernest Muthithe.

Wife of the late John Bachia Ndirangu. Mother of Anne Wambui, the late Peter Ndirangu, QS. Kairu Bachia, David Kanyi (USA) and Teresa Wanjiru (USA).

Mother-in-law of Joyce Wacici, Margaret Wanjiru, Mureithi Kabugua, Nellie Wambui and Grace Njeri.

Grandmother of Catherine Njoki, Michael Nderitu, John Bachia & Diana Wangui, Abigail Njoki, Carol Muthoni, Arch. Jacqueline Njoki, r. Angela Wairimu Kairu, Valentine Wambui & enaldo D’Souza, Joan Njeri, Christian Bachia, Lisa joki, and based in the USA;Wandia N. Mureithi, aina K. Mureithi, Kuria Bachia Mureithi, Brooke oki Kanyi, Jonathan Bachia Kanyi and Jacob uguna Kanyi.
Great grandmother of many children.

Prayer and funeral meetings will be held St. Andrews Church, Hall 1, Nairobi, on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday ( 9th, 10th & 11th respectively) from 5 pm-7:30 pm.

The requiem mass shall be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Chapel, University Way Nairobi on Monday , March 14th, 2022, at 2:00 pm. , Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Kiriaini Mission Hospital on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, at 9:00 am for a burial service mass at St.Joseph Catholic Church, Gichiche, Chinga Location, Othaya Division, and thereafter burial at the family graveyard in Gichiche (next to the church).
