Lillian Awino Olwande

2nd December 1976 — 8th February 2023

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Ms Lillian Awino Olwande — Procurement Assistant in the Department of Procurement at Technical University of Mombasa on 8th February, 2023 at Coast Province General Hospital Mombasa after battling with a short illness.

Wife to Odhiambo William Oyuga and she is survived by her daughter Jasmine. Step-mother to Clara and Anna.

Loving daughter to the late Ismael Olwande and the late Mama Jessica Olwande. Sister to the late Prisca, Edward, Hilda, the late Maurice, Betty, Alphonse and Alfred.

Niece to Mzee Nashon Olwande, the late Uncle Charles, the late Uncle Dishon, the late Uncle Henry and the late Uncle Earnest.

Niece to Aunty Margaret Olwande, Aunty Margaret Ongere, the late Aunty Domtila, the late Aunty Grace, the late Aunty Risper, the late Aunty Mary.

Daughter-in-law to the late Mzee Wilson Oyuga Weda, Mama Mornica Oyuga, the late Mama Perez Oyuga. Sister-in-law to Martha, the late Grace, Peninnah,William, the late James,Apollo, Amos, the late John, Paul and Richard.

She was a loving wife, sister, mother, friend and colleague.

The cortege leaves Jocham Hospital Mortuary — Mombasa on Thursday, 23th February 2023 at 10.00a.m. Thereafter, family and friends will view the body at ACK St Paul Church — Kiembeni, followed by a short service.

The cortege will proceed by road to Bondo Sub-county — Sakwa, Kamkwaya village where the late will be laid to rest on Saturday, 25th February 2023.
