It is with deep sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lily Gathigia Kamenju Njenga ofThe National Intelligence Service (NIS) on Sunday, 4th June, 2023.

Beloved daughter of the late Lt. Col. Jan Kamenju and Angela Wangui Kamenju of Kahawa Sukari. Daughter-in-law to the late Charles Mwai Ngugi and the late Gladys Wambui Mwai.

Loving Wife to Alex Njenga of Minet Kenya. Devoted mother to Liam Mwai Njenga, AngelaWarnbui Njenga of Mountain View School and Stanhope Mwai.

Sister to Claire Kamenju Kagane and Edward Kagoce, Michael Kamenju Ndiritu and Michelle jelagat Mama.

Aunt to Matthew Mwathi Kagane, Myra Kaari Kagane and Jabal’ Ndiritu Kamenju.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family residence in Kahawa Sukari for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a requiem mass on Thursday 8th June, 2023 at 2.00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Kahawa Sukari.

The cortege leaves K.U Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRRH) along Northern Bypass on Saturday, 10th June 2023 at 6.30 am. The Funeral Service will take place at the grave site at the family home in Bahati (Maili Tisa), Nakuru County.
