Lisbeth Kawira Muthungu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Lisbeth Kawira Muthungu on Friday 4th October 2019. She was a tutor at St. Lawrence Egoji Teachers’ College.

Daughter of the late Rev. Geofrey Bundi and Charity Bundi. Loving wife of Rev. Canon Benjamin Muthungu (teacher at Chogoria Girl’s High School and Vicar General A.C.K — Diocese of Meru). Loving mother of Jeffken Muriithi, Lilian Mwende and Linabel Mukami. Mother-in-law of Fridah. Sister of Jane and Miriti, Jane and Kiambi, Lucy Wanja, Kaari and Mutembei, Faith and Mugendi, Beth and Micah, Mary and Ben. Daughter-in-law of Mr & Mrs Njiru Muruwarubia. Sister-in-law of Kambura, Muthoni and Ireri, Margaret, Rwamba, Jane and David, Pauline and Manase, Florence, Anne and Waweru.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday, 11th October 2019 at 9.00am for a funeral service at A.C.K — Good Shepherd Chuka Church, at 10.30am. Thereafter, interment at Kibugua Igoki Village – Magumoni sub-location (next of Magumoni Girls’ High School).
