Loice Atieno Okumu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Loice Atieno Okumu, on Sunday 10th June, 2018.

Beloved wife of late Edward Okumu Okello. Mother of late Michael Odiwuor, Grace Okumu (Advocate Mombasa) John Okumu (PSL), Emily Anyango. Step mother of Felix Okumu (GDC) and Calcina Adhiambo. Daughter of the late Daniel Ogum and Naome Achieng of Kakwajuok. Daughter in law of the late Okello Awino and Miriam Agol, Late James Omenda and Rose Okello. Sister of Prof. Ougo Ogum (USA), Moses, Samuel, Ogweno, Nyerere, Tom, Apelles and Akumu.

Aunty  of Caro, George, Javan, Jacky (USA), Eng. Karume Weke, Kafew, Hillary and others. Grandmother of Edith (Cytonn), Loice (UoN), Naomi, Late Natalie, Hawi, Eddie and Michael (AgaKhan Mombasa), Geoff and Baraka. Mother In-law of Margaret Soi Odhiambo and Irene Omondi. Sister-in-law of Late Paul, Bernard, Kenneth, Isaiah. Dr. Peter Omenda, Tom, Modeccai and Walter Okello.

There will be a fundraising today Wednesday 23rd June. 2018 at Professional Centre from 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Gendia Mission Hospital on Friday 22nd June,2018 at 3.00pm. Burial will take place at her home on Sunday 24th June, 2018 at Kagak Village, Kisuri.
