It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to eternal rest of Mrs. Loice Gowi, on Saturday 15th October, 2022 at Nightingale Hospital – Kisumu.

Beloved wife to the late Bishop Yusuf Gowi of Hope for Africa Ministries International (HAMI). Mother to Richard Gowi (Jingshi), Sarah Gowi (MoH, Homabay), Christabel Gowi (UNHCR), Daniel Gowi (Lake Victoria Aquaculture), Ruby Gowi (IOM), and Yusuf Gowi Junior (Dubai).

Sister to the late Dennis Ochere, Christabel Tolo, Rael Abong’o, the late Meshack Gony, the late Margret Ochieng’, Christopher Muma, James Ogada, Edward Otieno, Peter Onyango, Charles Ooro, the late Edward Ombewa, Kennedy Owino, Benard Ouma, among others.

The funeral arrangement meetings are at the late Dr. Obwa’s residence in Ngong Town, along Oloolua Road, next to Hills View Flats, everyday from 6.00pm.

A fund-raising to offset the medical bills & funeral expenses will be held at the same venue on Sunday 30th October 2022 from 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Hospital Mortuary in Milimani, Kisumu on Thursday 3rd November, 2022, for the funeral service at Nyalunya Pentecostal Church. The burial ceremony will be held on Friday 4th November, 2022 at her home in Nyalunya Village, along Katito – Kendu Bay Road, from 10.00am.
