We regret to announce the passing on to glory of our mother, Mrs, Lois Kulova Wetungu, She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 29th August, 2023 after a brief illness. Formerly of Ministry of Labour, Lands and Settlement and The Judiciary.
Daughter to the late Senior Chief lsaya Kulecho of Avashu Avachisambo and the late Mama Selinah Nyamisi Kulecho of Avatovo Avakutondo. Daughter-in-law to the late Zachayo Bakuli Luvisia and Rhodah Nelima Bakuli (Abasoko Clan).
Wife to Christopher Wetungu Bakuli, formerly of the Ministry of Health, Afya House, Nairobi. Mother to Douglas Luvisiah, Evans Webbo (Canada), Timothy Juma, Stella Nelima, Caleb Mutali, Lynette Nechesa and Stephen Wafula. Mother-in-law to Margaret, Carol, Dr. Roselynne (Canada), Frank, Susan, Dr- Stella (Kijabe Hospital) and Jane. Grandmother to Kevin, Tracy, Sylvia, Jesse, Anita, Jessica, Sam, Flora,Vincent, Melvin, Laura, Deborah, Jacinta, Valentine, Sandra, La.venda, Ariel, Natalie, Mitchell, Lincy, Shadrack and Dora.
Sister to the late Wayima, the late Rachel Barasa, Julia Nyongesa, Jacob Luvembe, Margaret Meta, Enock Webbo the late Mary Naliaka, Grace Lichuma, the late Dorcus Mebbo, the late Alex Juma, the late Francis Barasa, Andrew Kulecho, Easter Khariokha (USA), Joseph Lumbasi, Gladies Mukasia (Canada), Kennedy Kulecho, Noah Shikanga and Rabecca Kulecho.
There will be a funeral service at Friends Church (Munyaka), Eldoret on Thursday, 7th September, 2023 at 10.00a.m.
The burial service will be held on Saturday, 9th September, 2023 at the family farm in Tande Village, Butali Chekulo Ward, Kakamega County, from 9:00a.m.
