It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Lorine Akoth Ogango of Watford – UK, which occurred on 26th August, 2022.

Daughter of the late Mzee Nelson Ogango Oyugi and the late Mama Miriam Ndede Ogango. Step-daughter to the late Mama Nora, Mama Priska and Mama Consolata Ogango. Sister to Mrs Elizabeth Okello (Limoda), Eng. John Ogango, Kennedy Ogango, Moses Ogango (USA), the late Mrs. Meresa Okongo. Step-sister to the late PS H.N. Oyugi, former DCC Joshua Ogango, the late Councillor Were, Damaris, Richard (UK) & Mereza. (UK), amongst others.

Sister-in-law to Mama Mary Oyugi, Doreen Oyugi, Jane Onyango, the late Proce-Covia K Okuna,Terry Amina, the late Jane Anyango, Maureen Ogango,Ann, Roselyn, among others.

Aunt to David Osano (UK), Peter Okello (UK), Fred Omondi (UK), Dinah, Moses, Linda, Claire, Brian, Bill,Winnie, Nelson, Dr. Christine Opundo (UK),Whitney, Reagan, Imelda, Maya, Sharon, Chef Oyugi, Nora, amongst many others.

A Memorial Service for Lorine will be held at Watford SDA Church, UK on 15th September, 2022 from 1200Hrs – 1330Hrs (UK time), after which the body will be repatriated to Kenya.

A graveside Funeral Service will be held on 23rd September, 2022 by Dudu SDA Church, after which she will be laid to rest at her father’s home in Dudu Village, Rongo Sub-county in Migori County.
