With the humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the death of Lt Col (Rtd) Peter Githaiga Muriuki, formerly of KDF.

Son of Cyrus Muriuki & Rebecca Michere.

Husband to the late Rose Njambi Githaiga and Gladwell Njuhi Githaiga. Father to Arnold Murimi Githaiga, Cynthia Nyambura Githaiga, Sandra Muthoni Githaiga, Albert Mburu and Michele Nyambura Githaiga.

Son-in-law to Phillip Wambugu & the late Margaret Muthoni Wambugu, Cyrus Mburu & Regina Wanjiku Mburu.

Brother to the late Charles Mwangi, Amos Waweru and Purity Nyaguthii.

Uncle to Georgina Muthoni Waweru, Bancy Wawira, Derrick Murimi, Julie Nyambura, Richie Murimi, Dave Kinyua and many others. Grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 7.00pm for prayers & burial arrangements at his Mwariki residence in Nakuru, at his Utawala residence, in Nairobi and at his home in Theiya Sub-location in Kirinyaga County.

The cortege will leave KU Referral and Research Hospital – Nairobi on 14th April, 2023 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial thereafter at his home in Theiya Sub-:location, Kirinyaga County.
