Lucas Taabu Adweya

It’s with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Lucas Taabu Adweya of Namikoye village, Murende Sub-Location, Nang’oma Location, Matayos Sub-County, Busia County.

Son of the late Mzee Michael Adweya Ofudare and Mama Leonora Kwoba Adweya. Lucas was former PTA Chairman, Nambere Primary School, Secretary General, CBO Matayos, and Chairman of Matayos Chelsea FC Fans Club.

Husband of Pamela Narotso Adweya, and father to Millicent, Diana, Christian, Lennox, Daisy and Vinah Adweya.

Brother to the late Getrude, Benson, Moses, Everline, Wilfresha and Paul Adweya. Cousin to Patrick, Esther, Charles, Enoch, Naftali, Jason, Linus, Monday, Francis, Benard,Topher, Justus, Mercy, Rose and Julia.

Brother-in-law to Stephen Tangaa, Wyclife Ogutu, Beatrice Tangaa, Selina Tangaa, Francisca Mukadi, and Catherine Makaka.

Nephew to the late Buluma Ofudare, the late Thomas Okolla, the late Gabriel Wanjofu Arusi, James Okotch, Calasina Buluma, Dorothy Ogolla,Albert Ngwabe, Agnes Okolla and Camilita Arusi.

Funeral service and Burial will be held on Saturday, 14th May 2022 at his home in Namikoye Village, Matayos – Busia.

Lucas, you fought a good fight and kept your faith.
