Lucia Teresia Wanjiru Ndung’u

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lucia Teresia Wanjiru Ndung’u which occurred on 30th January 2023.

Daughter to the late Gaita Thuku and Leah Munjiru Gaita.

Beloved wife to John Ndung’u Kirungu. Mother to Jane Wambui Njoroge, Paul Kirungu, Stephen Gaita, Richard Kamere, Michael Njuguna (late), Gabriel Mwariri, Joseph Mathii, Peter Kihara, Francis Ngugi and Boniface Ngure.

Mother-in-law to Hon. Peter Njoroge Baiya, May Wanjiku Kirungu, Lilian Kawira Gaita, Grace Wairimu Kamere, Veronicah Heta Mathii, Lilian Nyambura Ngugi and Esther Njambi Ngure.

Sister to Pauline Wanjiru, Jacinta Nduta Kimuchu and Mary Wanjira.

Sister-in-law to Gabriel. Mwariri Kirungu, Mary Njeri Kirungu, Peter Ngochi Mwithiga Kirungu and Jacinta Wanjira.

The cortege will leave Mukoe Funeral home, Githunguri, on 7th February 2023 at 9:30am for a funeral service at Githare-ini Catholic church Karia at 10:00arn. The burial will take place thereafter at the family home in Karia Village, Lioki Sub-Location, Githunguri Constituency in Kiambu county.
