Lucy Gacheri Mburugu

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Lucy Gacheri Mburugu, which occurred on 21st October, 2022 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Mburugu Mairanyi and Judith Karimi of Ntharene Village in Meru County. Daughter-in-law to the late Jonah M’Mugambi and the late Margaret Igoji.

Beloved wife of Elias Kinyua Mugambi. Loving mother to Mercy Kagwiria, Dennis Mugambi, Purity Kinya and Faith Karambu. Grandmother to Edna Makandi, Christian Mukiki, Eric Mwiti, Casey Mwenda, Damian Muthomi and Marya Wanjiru.

Sister to Robert Gitonga, the late Gladys Nceri and the late Douglas Muriithi. Sister-in-law to Jose’s Gitonga and Ruth Gitonga, George Muriithi, Faith Karambu, Fedis Rima, Gibson Mutembei.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Saturday, 29th October, 2022 at 7.00am for her funeral service in Kanyakine at Mbugine Village, Meru County from 11.00am. Thereafter, the burial will take place at the same place.
