It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the Murathi family, announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Lucy Makena Murathi.

Daughter of the late Peter Maranya and late Julia Kariuntu Maranya. Beloved wife of Lt. Col (Rtd) Daniel Murathi. Sister of the late Stella M’Mugwika, Margaret Kanjira and the late Rose Kirema.

Daugher-in-law of Mr Bernard M’Kiunga, the late Mrs. Isabella Ncekei M’Kiunga and Sarah Misiri M’Kiunga. Sister-in-law to Silas Kaaragania, Elijah Mwongera, Jesse Kiogora, Nahashon Muthiora, the late Mr Duncan M’mugwika, the late Benjamin Kairuthi and the late Edward Kirema.

Mother of Faith & the late Capt Walter Mwaniki, Boniface & Irene Kathurima, Juliet & Caleb Karichu. Grandmother of Abigail, Michelle, Jeph and many others.

Funeral arrangements are going on at the family home in Mwihoko, family home in Meru and on WhatsApp networks.The cortege will leave KU Referral Hospital funeral home, on 15/04/2021 at 5am for a funeral service and burial to be held at their home in Kamakawa Village, Munithu from 10.00am.
