Lucy Muthoni Kithinji

It is with immeasurable sorrow yet humble acceptance that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Lucy Muthoni Kithinji.

Loving wife to Lawrence Kithinji Mutungi. Precious and caring mother to Katherine Kendi Kithinji, Kevin Murithi Kithinji and Amy Martha Murithi, Gillian Susan Gatwiri Kithinji, David Mutugi Kithinji and Nan Jiang Mutugi.

Doting grandmother to Nessy Makena Gatwiri, Nathan Mwenda Gatwiri, Zahra Amani Mwendwa, Sophia Grace Kanana Gatwiri, Jabali Moses Murithi, Talitha Murithi and Hadassah Maua Mutugi.

Daughter to the late Shadrack David Nyaga and the late Susan lthiru David. Daughter-in-law to Constantine M’Mmtungi and Beatrice Nkuene M’Mmtungi. Sister to the late Humprey Njeru, the late Joe Gitonga, the late Dickson Kirimi, Winfred Kaari Mutembei, Rose Mukwanjeru Riungu, Frank Kinyua and Nicholas Ntwiga. Sister-in-law to Timothy Mutembei, Linus Riungu, Purity Muthoni and Grace Kinyanjui, She was an aunt, cousin and godmother to many.

Her in-laws were: the Kinoti’s, the Kimathi’s, Mbaabu’s, Mwenda’s, Mbuti’s, Maganju’s, Pamela Ngugi, Fridah Kathure and Caroline Karoki.

Friends & family are meeting daily at her residence at Ruai, Nairobi from 4.00pm.There will be a memorial service at Victors Assembly Church – Nairobi, off Ndumberi Road on Thursday, 27/ 10/2022 at 11.00am. Thereafter her farewell service will commence on 29/10/2022 at K.U. Referral Funeral Home on By-Pass Road and continue with a farewell service at her home in Ruai at 10.00am.

2 Timothy 4:74 —”I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
