Lucy Ngendo Waitathu

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the death of Lucy Ngendo Waitathu on 7th September, 2022.

Daughter to Esther Mugure Mbugua and the late Peter Waitathu Ruthiru. Sister to Leonard Ruthiru Waitathu, Phillip Mbugua Waitathu and Diana Wambui Waitathu.

Auntie to Yara Mugure, Ashley Mugure, Rayvon Waitathu Ruthiru, Edenwise Nyamai and Nester Kimani.

Niece to Peter Njuhigu Mbugua (USA) and a cousin to many others. Sister-in-love to Eliza Ruthiru.

Prayers are being held daily at her parent’s home at Gitambaya village, Ruiru near Ruiru Senior School along Eastern Bypass.

Memorial service will be held at ACK Gitothua Church on Tuesday, 206 September, 2022 from 4.00pm – 6.00pm followed by Candlelit vigil at her parents’ home at 8.00pm.

The cortege leaves KU Mortuary at 9.30am. The funeral and church service will be held at Kiratina village along Eastern Bypass near corner after Kamakis on 21st September, 2022.
