Lucy Njambi Karuri

The Karuri family announces with great sadness the loss of their beloved Lucy Njambi Karuri of Peabody Massachusetts USA. She left to be with the Lord on Feb 27th 2018 at 11:30 am.

Daughter of the late Samuel Mwaura and the late Margaret Wambui of Kingeero, Kiambu county. Daughter in law of Joseph Gichimu and Martha Gathoni of Mukwere-ini, Nyeri. Wife of Mr. Francis Karuri (USA). Mother of Lisbeth Kagunda (USA), Martha Karuri (USA), Janet Karuri (USA) and Ashley Karuri (USA). Sister of Joseph Kamau (USA), Keziah Njoki (USA), Jane Wanjiku (USA), Henry Muiruri, Hannah Wanjiru, John Kabiru, Willie Mugo, Esther Nyambura the late Douglas Ndumbe and the late Salome Wairimu. Mother in law of Jared Kagunda (USA). Grandmother of Jayden and Jason Kagunda (USA). Auntie and friend to many.

Memorial Service will take place at ACK St Luke’s Church Kingeero, Kiambu county on Friday, March 16th 2018 at 11AM.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Abby Hotel from 6.00pm, Kingeero and Mukurweini for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home at 7am then proceed to PCEA Kimuri, Gikondi, Mukurwe-ini county on Monday, March 19th 2018 senesce starts at 11AM.

We loved her but God loved her more and has taken her home. Glory be to God.
