It is with sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Mrs Lucy Njeri Kiama on 28th August 2017 at the Texas Cancer Centre hospital.

Daughter of the late Mutahi Thagichu and the late Ruth Wanjiru Mutahi. Beloved wife of the late Reuben Kiama Mwai. Sister of the late Tabitha Muthoni Maina, Rebecca Wandia Mutahi, Gladys Wambui Mania, the late Marion Micere and Emma Wanjiru Maina. Beloved Mother of Alice Wanjiru Mwaniki (State Department for Devolution), the late Justus Irungu, Peninah Wairimu Muraya (CID-Nakuru), the late James Mutahi, Kenneth Mwangi (Tuskys-Kisii),Benard Kariuki (Kianjege Market), Eunice Wanjiku Muriithi (Mombasa), Susan Michere Waigoi (KWFT Thika) and Joyce Wambui Muriithi (NRB-Nakuru). Mother-in-law of Peter Mwaniki, Susan Waithira, Gerishon Muraya, Beatrice Waryku Mwangi, Mary Gathoni Kariuki, Geoffrey Muriithi, Francis Waigoi and Adoisio Muriithi. Grandmother of Lilian Njeri and Robinson Muriuki (UK), Caroline, Kelly, Antony Kimani, Rachael, Karen, Esther, Denis, Pauline, Elvina, Ryan, Precious among others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her home Kamoro Village,Kirinyaga and Tumaini House 6th floor Room 6C behind Kencom House up to 7th September 2017 beginning 5.30pm. The Cortege will leave Kenyatta University (KU) Funeral Home on Friday the 8th September 2017 at 8.30am for funeral service at Kamoro Village, Ndia Division, Kirinyaga County.

Mum, You have fought a good fight. God has done His will. In our hearts you remain. Rest in Peace.
