Lucy Njeri Mbuthia -Wahinya

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Lucy Njeri Mbuthia – Wahinya on 8th March, 2022 after a long brave battle with cancer.

Loving wife of Peter Wahinya Muiruri. Daughter of the late Pascasio Mbuthia, Teresiah Wanjiku and Monicah Njeri.

Adoring Mother of Leonard Muiruri and Angelah Wahinya.

A precious Mother-in-law of Anthony Mbuiya and Karen Muiruri.

Sister-in-law of Njau Muiruri, Jane, Kimuhu, Kariuki, Muthoni, Njoroge and the late Njenga.

Sister of Gerald Mbuthia, Mary, Richard, Lawrence, Betty, Kiuru, Lucy, Margaret, Ann, Beth, Joseph, Ruth, Nduta, Cecilia, Kamau, Karanja, the late Wanja,Wanpra, Kun’gu and John Gakung’u.

Adoting Grandmother of Tegan,Wahinya and Njeri. She was a dear auntie and a friend of many.

There will be a Memorial Service at their residence situated at Igegania Village Mang’u on Thursday 17th March, 2022 at 3:30pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, along Thika Road, on Friday 18th March, 2022 at 8:30am, followed by Holy Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Igegania Village, Mang’u at 11am.

She will be laid to rest at her husband’s farm in lgegania Village, Mang’u Location, Gatundu North Sub-county Kiambu County.
